ProjectHigh Precision positioning system of the multi-axes Linear motion stage for Gen-11 FPD equipment
JUSTEK ACS Motion Control
Duration
- 2009.6 - 2010.11
Background
- The LCD business, led by Samsung and LGD worldwide, completed the first Set-Up of 8th generation equipment by 2008 and was preparing the Set-Up of 11th generation equipment. This project is to secure technology for gantry stage development for 11th generation LCD manufacturing
Details
In the development of the super-large multi-axis linear motion stage, composite materials were used to reduce the weight of the stage and secure price competitiveness. And high productivity and high speed (2m/s, 10m/s2) stage transfer speed were to be realized through the development of a linear motor.
Gen-11 FPD equipmentPerformances
Successfully developed the 11th generation complex stage for the first time in the world. Achieved the reducement of stage weight (40%) and increased rigidity (40%) compared to existing products
